How is Reiki Learnt?

The key to Reiki is its simplicity .The procss of opening the channel for the

free flow of cosmic energy and linking one to the higher levels is called

'the Attunement' or 'initiation'.This is an essential aspect of Reiki.Once a

channel is established ,it remains available for the rest of ones life.During

the first degree level of Reiki Attunment,certain of energy centres,also

known as Chakras ,are opened to enable the person to channel higher amount of

universal life force energy.After this, one can lay his/her hands on affected

body part of the other person and help to accelerate the healing process by

trnsfering Reiki. The other person draws in just the right amount of this

life force energy through the hands of a Reiki channel that he/she needs to

release, active or transform the energy of the physical, mental and etheric

bodies.

Reiki is a natural system of great simplicity, since nothing other than your

hands are required to carry it out.Where other forms of therapy may demands

months and years of training for the practitioner.Reiki can be taught in a

week-end.

After Attunement process, most nurses, Doctors , and Massage therapists are

well acquainted with the touch and feel of the human body ,notice immediate

increase in the amount of energy or the feeling of heat or vibration

emanating from their hands when doing treatment.

At times immediate relief can also be attained for some of the complaints. To

day we can use it to complement all other kinds of healing methods.
